A list of Smartphones and tablets that will taste the Android OS 8.0 Oreo

Android  8.0  Oreo is already available on some Google devices and manufacturers are starting to announce which devices will be updated. Here is a list of smartphones and tablets that are or will be compatible with Android O.

Formalized in March 2017 , the Android 8.0 Oreo version is available from the first day in Developer Preview . This update brings the new aesthetic and some features such as picture-in-picture , or the management of codes received via SMS . August 21, 2017, Google has formalized the name, this will be: Android 8.0 Oreo.

 

The final update is available , AOSP is up to date, manufacturers have begun to announce devices that will be updated. Here’s the list! Note that are mentioned here that the terminal confirmed by the manufacturers. This does not mean that those who do not appear in this table will not be updated, just that the manufacturer in question has not yet reported above .

Asus has formalized its Android Zenfone 3 and 4 . The Taiwanese manufacturer the opportunity to deploy ZenUI 4.0, its home interface. It will be much more simple and intuitive to use.

HTC has confirmed that the U11, its flagship for the first half 2017, would be maintained for at least two years . This confirms that the smartphone will benefit many Android O. Furthermore, the manufacturer has also said that HTC and HTC U Ultra 10 would also be entitled to the new version of the OS.

Lenovo has confirmed that the Moto Force Z2 will be updated to Android O  and leaked on the official website suggests that the G4 More will be right also .

Honor

During a meeting with fans of the brand in India, Honor announced the dates of updates to Honor and Honor 6X 8 Pro . The first will be entitled to Android 8.0 Oreo before the end of 2017, while the second will have to wait at least until the end of January 2018.

 

Nokia

HMD has promised that the new Nokia smartphones will be updated very quickly. Nokia 3, 5 and 6 presented at Mobile World Congress 2017 will therefore have a right to their update to Android O .

Samsung has confirmed at the launch of Galaxy Note 8 that it would be updated to Android 8.0 Oreo by the end of the year.

Confirming previous rumors, Sony confirmed at IFA 2017 the list of devices that will be eligible to upgrade to Android 8.0 Oreo.
